Abstract: The present invention discloses a Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) Energy Trading Platform with AI-Based Demand Forecasting and Dynamic Pricing Optimization configured to enable intelligent bidirectional energy exchange between electric vehicles and an electrical power grid. The platform comprises a bidirectional charger, a smart metering subsystem, an IoT communication gateway, an AI forecasting engine, a dynamic pricing controller, a battery management interface, and a secure transaction ledger. Real-time operational data including voltage, current, power flow, battery state of charge, historical load demand, renewable energy generation, weather conditions, and connected vehicle availability are collected and processed by machine learning algorithms such as LSTM neural networks, Random Forest models, or equivalent predictive techniques to forecast future electricity demand. Based on the predicted demand and renewable energy availability, the dynamic pricing controller computes optimized charging and discharging tariffs. During anticipated peak-demand periods, eligible electric vehicles discharge stored energy back to the grid, while during low-demand periods or high renewable generation periods, the vehicles are charged at reduced tariffs. The platform further incorporates a battery-health-aware scheduling mechanism that considers state of charge, temperature, cycle count, and degradation parameters to minimize battery wear. Energy trading transactions are securely recorded using a distributed ledger or blockchain-based database, providing transparency and resistance to unauthorized modification. The invention improves grid stability, peak-load management, renewable energy utilization, electricity cost optimization, EV owner revenue generation, and battery life preservation through integrated AI-driven operational control, thereby providing an intelligent and secure smart-grid energy trading solution.
