Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated vehicle safety and fleet management system for preventing alcohol-impaired vehicle operation through mandatory sobriety verification and controlled ignition authorization. The system comprises a breath testing unit including an alcohol sensor, camera, display and processing module, and a vehicle-mounted control unit having communication, positioning and ignition control circuitry. Prior to vehicle startup, a driver is required to undergo a breath alcohol test, wherein the test result is analyzed and transmitted to a centralized cloud platform. Vehicle ignition is enabled only upon successful sobriety verification. The system further performs periodic driver monitoring during vehicle operation through image capture, location tracking and timestamped reporting. Remote sobriety verification may be initiated by authorized administrators, with configurable restrictions applied upon failed or missed tests. The cloud platform provides real-time alerts, evidence management, diagnostics, compliance monitoring and fleet-wide supervision, thereby enhancing road safety, regulatory compliance and operational accountability.
