The edge kit integrates multimodal vehicle, environmental, traffic, positioning, diagnostic, imaging and biometric sensors (101) with distributed sensor- level intelligence, real-time edge processing (104) and a hybrid classical and quantum-assisted processing architecture (106). Sensor data are pre-processed (202), fused (203), converted into computational features and quantum-compatible representations and analyzed to predict accident probability, estimate severity and determine preventive actions before collision occurrence. Explainable artificial intelligence (108) identifies the principal factors contributing to the predicted risk and generates transparent, human-readable and multilingual warnings (207, 208). Upon detecting a collision or critical driver-health condition, generative artificial intelligence (109) estimates injury severity, generates recipient-specific emergency information, intelligently selects appropriate emergency responders and coordinates secure communication through vehicle-to-everything connectivity (116) with authenticated, privacy-controlled data sharing (112), while supporting local operation during communication outages (110) and cloud synchronization (210).
