[Solution] A vehicle lower structure 100 for an electric vehicle includes: a floor panel 1; a pair of side members 2, 2; battery holding members 6; and a below-floor flat cross member 8, side member lower surfaces 2a project downward with respect to a lower surface 1b of the floor panel 1, a battery unit 5 is disposed below the floor panel 1 and between the pair of side members 2, 2, the battery holding members 6 connect side portions of the battery unit 5 to the side member lower surfaces 2a to hold the battery unit 5, the below-floor flat cross member 8 extends in a vehicle width direction along the lower surface 1b of the floor panel 1, is formed to be flat in a vehicle up-down direction, and is disposed above the battery unit 5, and the below-floor flat cross member 8 is disposed inward in the vehicle width direction with respect to battery fixing portions 2x of the side member lower surfaces 2a to which the battery holding members 6 are fixed.
