Abstract: ABSTRACT Vehicle compliance system with offline detection, secure evidence generation and backend verification relates to a vehicle-mounted compliance system for autonomously detecting predefined compliance events, including vehicle overspeed, and generating authenticated digital evidence without requiring continuous internet connectivity. The system comprises a navigation receiver, an embedded processing unit executing locally stored compliance rules, a secure cryptographic module, encrypted local evidence storage, tamper detection mechanisms, communication interfaces and a backend verification platform. Upon detection of a compliance event, authenticated digital evidence is generated, securely stored with the original event timestamp, preserved during communication outages and synchronized upon restoration of connectivity. The backend platform verifies device identity, firmware integrity, compliance rule version, timestamp consistency and evidence authenticity before downstream processing. The system further supports authenticated tamper detection, non-reporting monitoring and optional artificial intelligence-assisted advisory analytics while restricting regulatory decision-making to authorized human or governmental authorities.
