A vehicle carpet peripheral structure 100 10 includes: a floor panel of a vehicle; a seat mounting portion on which a seat is mounted, the seat mounting portion protruding upward from the floor panel near a side sill 150 extending along an edge of the floor panel; a carpet 160 continuously covering the floor panel and the 15 seat mounting portion; and an interior trim 170 extending upward from the side sill 150 to overlap the carpet 160 so as to cover, together with the carpet 160, an outer side of the seat mounting portion in a vehicle width direction.
