Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment comprising the following. Processing circuitry of the UE determines whether to initiate a beam management reporting procedure, based on results of measurements performed by the UE on one or more downlink reference signals. The processing circuitry, in case of determining to initiate the beam management reporting procedure, generates a UE-initiated beam management report comprising information for assisting beam management at a base station for the UE. The processing circuitry performs control to determine uplink radio resources for transmitting the generated UE-initiated beam management report. A transmitter of the UE transmits the generated UE-initiated beam management report to the base station using the determined uplink radio resources. The processing circuitry performs a retransmission mechanism for transmitting the generated UE-initiated beam management report.
