Inventors include Kim Nielsen; and Bent Henneberg Rysgaard.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT USER EQUIPMENT NON-CONTIGUOUS CARRIER AGGREGATION RECEPTION WITH ANTENNA FOCUS Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to user equipment non-contiguous carrier aggregation reception with antenna focus. A method comprises performing, by an apparatus, measurements on at least two non-contiguous intra-band carrier components (CCs), associated with a signal received from a serving cell and an in-gap interference; in accordance with a determination, based on the measurements, that the in-gap interference is affecting the at least two non-contiguous intra-band CCs, determining whether a diversity operation for the at least two non-contiguous intra-band CCs is allowed to be unused; and configuring target receive chains for receiving the at least two non-contiguous intra-band CCs based at least on the determination and an availability of candidate receive chains on a main receiver or a diversity receiver at the apparatus.
