Abstract: In one implementation, a user equipment (UE) for performing transmit beam prediction in a temporal domain with a UE-side artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) model is pro-vided. The UE comprises a transceiver circuit (31) to receive from a network node a set of mon-itoring resources and a set of parameters, the set of parameters comprises at least one of: re-sources for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS)/synchronization signal block reference signal (SSS-RS), monitoring resource period, number of prediction time instances (N), number of predicted beams (K), number of measured beams (K’), inference result time in-stance, time gap between the predicted time instances. The UE further comprises a memory (36) to store the AI/ML model, and a controller (33) to determine performance metric for the set of monitoring resources based on the set of parameters and inference results from the AI/ML mod-el, wherein the performance metric is reported to the network node.
