The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to Remote Control operation of High mast fixture movement in upward or down ward direction. More particularly the invention addresses the problem of failure of the sling due to wear and tear or rust the heavy lighting fixture will fall on the operator which could be fatal accident. In order to make the operation safer a remote-control arrangement is configured with high mast operating motor control panel responsible for upward and down ward operation of high mast. The maintenance person can stand at least 10 mtr distance with a remote control to operate the high mast fixture. In case if the high mast sling fails it will not fall on the operator. Thus, with this engineering control fatal accident can be avoided. The system comprises: • One remote control capable of pick up the contactor through which the cable of the motor of High Mast fixture responsible for movement in upward and downward direction from 10 mtr distance. By providing the remote control to the High mast fixture movement in upward and down ward direction the need for the operator to operate the lower and raise pushbutton of High mast fixture standing just below the fixture is eliminated. Incase if there is failure of the sling due to wear and tear or rust the heavy lighting fixture will fall on the operator which could be fatal accident. Implementation of the system has demonstrated a reduction in Risk Priority Number (RPN) from 12 to 2, eliminating the chance of fatal incident.
