Abstract: A USB connector shielding device comprising, a pair of extendable plates 101 connected by multiple electromagnetic springs 102 and accessed by a user to insert a shield of a USB connector in between the plates 101, a microphone 103 receive voice command of a user regarding encasing of the shield within the plates 101, an imaging unit 104 and integrated with a processor for capturing and processing images of the shield, a microcontroller linked with the processor determines dimensions of the shield and accordingly directs the plates 101 to extend and retract in accordance with the detected dimensions to accommodate the shield within the plates 101 in a suitable manner followed actuation of the springs 102 to contact in view of gripping the shield within the plates 101, a sensing module installed over the plates 101 to monitor presence of dust and humidity in surroundings.
