MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541125446 A) filed by Maga Tech Gramam Private Limited on December 11, 2025, for Upper-Arm Oscillometric Blood Pressure Monitoring System And Method Of Working Thereof.

Inventors include Manikandan Muthu; and Ganesh Natesan.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT UPPER-ARM OSCILLOMETRIC BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF WORKING THEREOF Disclosed is an upper- arm oscillometric blood pressure monitoring system (100) includes a cuff (104) positioned around an upper arm of a user and apply variable pneumatic pressure. The device (102) operatively coupled with the cuff (104). The pump (112) configured to generate and regulate air pressure within the cuff (104), a pressure sensor (116) configured to detect air pressure within the cuff (104) and an airbag (114), a sensor array (118) detects physiological signals representative of blood pressure, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation from the user. The processor (122) synchronize optical sampling cycles of the PPG emitters with inflation and deflation phases of the cuff, compute blood pressure values based on synchronized oscillometric and optical signals and adapt the pneumatic inflation profile in real-time based on signal quality indices derived from the physiological signals. The present disclosure also relates to method (200) of monitoring blood pressure using the system (100). Figure 1A will be the reference
