Abstract: An uplink transmission method and a communication apparatus. In the method, a terminal device and a network device determine whether a first slot satisfies a first condition; if the first condition is not satisfied, the first slot can be used for transmitting a multi-slot PUSCH/PUCCH; otherwise, the first slot cannot be used for transmitting the multi-slot PUSCH/PUCCH, wherein the first condition comprises: a first symbol set of the first slot comprises a non-SBFD symbol and an SBFD symbol, and the non-SBFD symbol comprises at least one of a flexible symbol and an uplink symbol. The method can avoid the problem of reduction of transmission performance or being unable to carry out normal communication probably caused by transmitting a multi-slot PUSCH/PUCCH across a non-SBFD symbol and an SBFD symbol in one slot.
