One method may include receiving, from a network entity, a first sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration, comprising at least one of the following: a first configuration for performing a first set of one or more SRS transmissions to the network entity during a first time window, or a second configuration for suspending the first set of one or more SRS transmissions during a second time window; receiving , from the network entity, a first command for activating at least one of the first configuration or the second configuration; and in response to the first command, performing the first set of one or more SRS transmissions to the network entity during the first time window, and suspending the first set of one or more SRS transmissions during the second time window.
