Abstract: ABSTRACT: The present invention discloses a multi-point head stabilization device designed to minimize patient head movement during dental procedures performed under high magnification using a dental operating microscope. Magnification systems ranging from 4x to 25x significantly enhance visual acuity, enabling precise identification of fine anatomical structures. However, increased magnification is associated with reduced field of view and depth of field, making the operative field highly sensitive to even minimal patient movement. Existing dental chair headrests primarily provide comfort but fail to restrict micro-movements, leading to loss of focus and procedural inefficiency. The proposed device comprises an occipital support pad and bilateral temporal support pads mounted on adjustable arms, providing multipoint stabilization and improving clinical precision.
