The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: This uninterruptible power supply device (10) is provided with a converter (12), a bidirectional chopper (18), and an inverter (20). Each of the converter (12) and the inverter (20) includes a leg circuit having a plurality of converter cells (26) that are cascade connected. The bidirectional chopper (18) includes a plurality of chopper cells (30) connected in series between a DC positive bus (14p) and a DC negative bus (14n). A power storage device includes a plurality of power storage cells that are provided so as to respectively correspond to the plurality of chopper cells, and that are connected in parallel to each other. Each of the plurality of chopper cells (30) includes: a first input/output terminal and a second input/output terminal; a capacitor connected between the first input/output terminal and the second input/output terminal; and a charge/discharge circuit for transmitting/receiving DC power between the capacitor and a corresponding power storage cell.
