Abstract: The present invention discloses a Unified Bandwidth Aggregation Protocol (UBAP) system and method for enabling efficient multi-path data transmission across heterogeneous networks such as Wi-Fi, cellular, satellite, and fiber. The proposed system utilizes a novel combination of data segmentation, metadata-driven packetization, adaptive multi-path scheduling, and 1Pv6-compatible extension mechanisms to distribute data fragments simultaneously over multiple communication interfaces. Each fragment is encapsulated with a uniquely designed UBAP extension header containing session identifiers, fragment indices, path selection information, quality-of-service parameters, timing data, and forward error correction attributes. This approach enables improved bandwidth utilization, reduced latency, enhanced reliability, and seamless reassembly at the receiver. The invention further integrates hardware-accelerated processing, software-based control layers, and a flexible packet structure that maintains compatibility with existing network infrastructure while introducing intelligent, path-aware communication capabilities.
