The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the mining industry, and more particularly to underground coal gasification methods. The invention provides for constancy in the composition of the synthesis gas and an increase in the energy value thereof. The proposed underground coal gasification method includes determining a region of a deposit to be treated, and building an underground gas generator. Said gas generator comprises one inclined-horizontal ignition well which serves as the lower boundary of the gas generator, two vertical-inclined injection wells which serve as the lateral boundaries of the gas generator, and one vertical-inclined well that follows the dip of the coal seam until it intersects with the inclined-horizontal ignition well, said vertical-inclined well serving for the withdrawal of the synthesis gas produced, and two vertical wells for igniting the bottom of the gas generator and for flame reaming an initial gasification channel.
