MUMBAI, India, Oct. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641121080 A) filed by Rajalakshmi Engineering College on October 09, 2026, for Uncertainty-Guided Physical Ai System For Adaptive Hazard-Response Action Selection In Dynamic Enviroments.

Inventor includes Dr. M. Thangamani.

The application for the patent was published on October 23, 2026, under issue no. 43/2026.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a dynamic physical environment for adaptive Selection of Hazard 505 Response Action based on Iliysical environment uncertainty. The system- transpaiIntly combines multimodal perception, sensing and captures, data and data synchronization, uncertainty estimation, physical state assessment, hazard detection & assessment, environmental context assessment, hazard severity assessment, affected entity assessment. A system that analyzes multiple potential actions to take when a fault or hazard has been detected, provides an estimation of the uncertainty, defines the hazard 510 severity, provides some fidelity ofthe environmental context, defines the entities affected and the potential consequences, and selects a rather appropriate action that will respond to the hazard. The selected response is then acted on and communicated via a response execution and control module and then checked by continued adaptation and feedback from new physical observations. Additionally, the system offers storage and utilization of contextual and historical information, as well as communication with workers, 515 operators, robotic systems and external monitoring devices. The invention provides adaptive hazard- response action selection in a dynamic environment, which repetitively considers changes in physical condition, uncertainty, hazard severity, environmental context and entities affected by the hazard.
