MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202623091190 A) filed by Pia Toor; Amarjit Singh Toor; and Jingles Toor on July 27, 2026, for Ultra-Portable Electromagnetic-Wave Generating Device With Smart Hardware & Ai Based Multi- Stage Respiratory Disorder Detection System.

Inventors include Pia Toor; Amarjit Singh Toor; and Jingles Toor.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an ultra-portable, with biomatrix based access, handheld digital electromagnetic wave-based imaging device which is charged by renewal energy resources e.g. solar. It is further, integrated with an embedded computing module comprising of digital flat panel operating on a multiple operating system e.g. Windows-based environment for real-time detection and prediction of pulmonary diseases, including tuberculosis (TB). The system comprises a low-dose EW generator, collimator, flat panel detector, embedded computing unit executing artificial intelligence-multilayered CNN model-based computer-aided detection (CAD), and a graphical user interface (GUI) for field operation operating on multiple Operating System integrated smart touch screen and or conventional display and computing devices. The device supports encrypted duplex radio frequency-based communication with a centralized cloud server and remote radiologist workstation. The system enables offline-first screening, real-time analysis, heat mapping, and optional 3D visualization by reconstruction of chest radiographs. The invention significantly improves accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, accessibility, cost-efficiency, and speed of TB screening in remote and resource-limited settings. Industrially it will save human capital, technical, time, space and financial resources giving impetus to medical imaging industry thereby creating entrepreneurs and job opportunities. Regulator’s recognition and standardization of the entire ecosystem with 3D view will set up a new benchmark standard in the health sector for speedy, accurate mass screening in case of pandemic equivalent situation and also support the TB Mukta Bharat Abhiyan by WHO-2030.
