Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a solution on UE capable of simultaneous transmission and reception applied in ambient IoT. In particular, a first apparatus transmits, to a second apparatus, capability information indicating whether the first apparatus support a full duplex operation. If the first apparatus supports the full duplex operation, the capability information further comprises at least one of: an indication of full duplex capability, a bandwidth gap between uplink and downlink bandwidths for the full duplex operation, or a spatial gap between uplink and downlink for the full duplex operation. The first apparatus receives, from the second apparatus, configuration information associated with a discovery or communication session with a third apparatus. The first apparatus determines a resource configuration for the discovery or communication session based on the configuration information and performs the session with the third apparatus based on the determined configuration.
