Abstract: A UAV for infrastructure inspection and restoration, comprising a plurality of UAV bodies 101 to be autonomously navigated and positioned in dynamic atmospheric conditions for inspection of suspension bridges and similar structures, a plurality of aerodynamic compensation fins 102 to pivot through a range of angles relative to airflow, an aerodynamic actuator 104 to generate rapid corrective forces neutralizing airflow disturbances, a first inspection unit to capture detailed structural imagery and generate three dimensional mapping data of inspected infrastructure, a second inspection unit to perform corrosion detection, an articulated link 109 having a motorized grinder 110 at the end to remove detected corrosion from target surfaces, a third inspection to detect cracks and loosened screws in the structure, an articulated limb 113 having a screwing unit 114 at the end to tighten the screws securely.
