MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641095133 A) filed by Vamanie Paramita Energy Private Limited on August 06, 2026, for Two-Phase Linear Generator With Halbach Magnetic Arrays.

Inventors include Sunkara Sai Arun Kiran Karthik; Maurya Ajay Kumar; and Rai Ankit Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: TWO-PHASE LINEAR GENERATOR WITH HALBACH MAGNETIC ARRAYS A modular planar linear generator includes an elongated laminated stator carrying longitudinally distributed concentrated windings and a guided translator carrying a planar Halbach magnet array. The array faces the stator across an air gap and has an active length shorter than the active stator length. During movement, the short array successively electromagnetically couples with different winding subsets. Each winding may have an individual rectifying and energy-buffer branch, and the rectified outputs may be aggregated at a common DC output. The single-sided Halbach arrangement concentrates flux toward the stator while limiting translator mass and magnetic material. The stator and magnetic-array assemblies may be extended modularly according to stroke length and required output. The generator is suitable for direct conversion of ocean-wave, vibration or other reciprocating linear motion into electrical energy. Figure accompanying the abstract:
