Abstract: ABSTRACT A dual-compartment endodontic irrigation syringe system is disclosed, comprising a single syringe body with two independently operable compartments housed within a translucent body for visual fluid level monitoring. The first compartment is color-coded blue and designated for saline solution, while the second compartment is color-coded red and designated for sodium hypochlorite solution. Each compartment is equipped with an independent piston, allowing the clinician to selectively deliver either solution without cross-contamination or simultaneous mixing. Each compartment terminates in a dedicated nozzle, and a detachable Y-shaped connector is provided to engage both nozzles simultaneously, converging into a single common outlet for attachment of an irrigation needle. Each compartment is filled independently by drawing solution directly from its respective source bottle via its dedicated nozzle, in the same manner as a standard single-chamber syringe. The invention further discloses a depth-marked irrigation needle comprising circumferential markings at 8 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, and 24 mm from the distal tip, spaced at uniform 4 mm intervals, to guide the clinician in maintaining accurate insertion depth relative to the root canal working length. The complete system streamlines endodontic irrigation workflow, eliminates the need for repeated syringe exchange between irrigants, and enhances procedural safety and precision during root canal treatment.
