Abstract: A turtle rescue device, comprising a cuboidal housing 101 positioned over a water body, plurality of motorized propellers 102 for providing movement to housing 101 on water, an user-interface for location coordinates of water body from where to rescue turtles, a ballast tank 103 for adjusting level fluid level within tank 103, a SONAR (Sound Navigation and Ranging) configured on housing 101 for determining distance between body and user-specified area, plurality of cameras 104 for detecting presence of turtles tangled with ropes/ strings in water body, a L-shaped telescopically operated rod 107 with a C-shaped clamping unit 108 for gripping neck portion of turtle and secure turtle inside housing 101, a robotic link 109 with a motorized cutting unit 110 to cut ropes/ strings tangled around turtle, in view of removing ropes/ strings, ensuring humane treatment.
