MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023203 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Tuberous Vegetable Plant Growth Device.

Inventors include Dr. Vinay Kumar Yadav; and Dr. Ravindra Kumar Pandey.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A tuberous vegetable plant growth device that comprises a cylindrical body 101 positioned on a ground surface, a user-interface inbuilt in a computing unit is wirelessly associated with device for enabling a user to give input regarding time intervals at plants is to be watered, an RTC module tracks the timing, an electronic nozzle 102 attached with a water chamber 103 configured with the body 101 to spray water on plants, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 104 mounted on the body 101 to capture and process the images of the plants, an NPK sensor installed within the body 101 for detecting level of nutrients in the soil to detect the level of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the soil, a set of flaps 107 integrated on multiple openings carved on the body 101 via multiple motorized hinges 108 to remove vegetables growth with the soil.
