Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a multi-functional dental restorative instrument, TRI-MATRIX, designed for efficient manipulation of composite materials. The instrument comprises dual working ends and a non-detachable threaded adjustable-length shaft mechanism. One working end includes a carrier tip and a condenser tip positioned on the same side and oriented in opposite directions, enabling rapid transition between composite placement and compaction. The opposite working end comprises a flat, paddle-shaped composite sculpting blade for contouring and shaping restorative material. The working ends are provided with a Teflon coating to minimize material adhesion and improve handling efficiency. The shaft consists of a two-part threaded mechanism that allows controlled adjustment of instrument length without separation. The instrument includes a neutral length position and permits extension or retraction within a defined range of approximately 1.5 em on either side. This feature enhances access to posterior regions while preserving precision in anterior applications. The integrated design reduces instrument switching, improves ergonomic handling, and increases procedural efficiency. The invention provides a compact, versatile, and clinically effective solution for restorative dental procedures.
