The trim assembly (100) is adapted to be fitted/fixed to the trim part. The assembly further comprises a reinforcement member (104) comprising a second engaging element (108-1), and a second fixation element (108-2). A portion (610) of the second engaging element (108-1) is arranged within a space C1 between a leg portion (604) of the first engaging element (106-1) and the panel (102), such that opposite side surfaces of the first leg portion (604) abut with the reinforcement member (104) and a leg portion (610) of the second engaging element (108-1) or opposite side surfaces of the leg portion (610) abut with the panel (104) and the leg portion (604).
