Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a trilingual morpheme acquisition assessment system for eliciting and analysing grammatical morpheme production by a second language learner. The system comprises an augmented-reality headset for presenting fictional animal stimuli within an augmented visual environment, a response capture device associated with the headset for capturing oral learner responses, and a server communicatively coupled with the headset and the response capture device. The server presents the fictional animal stimuli as visual elicitation objects, generates language-specific elicitation prompts corresponding to actions, quantities, habitual behaviours, and completed events, selects a target language from Sanskrit, Hindi, and English, receives captured oral responses, converts the oral responses into transcribed response data, stores selected grammatical morpheme data, and compares the transcribed response data with the selected grammatical morpheme data to determine morpheme acquisition order and production accuracy across Sanskrit, Hindi, and English.
