MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541030757 A) filed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited on March 29, 2025, for Traverse Cart With Fixture Cage (tcfc).

Abstract: This invention is particularly in use, but not limited to heat treatment cycle applications for loading/unloading of multiplicity of components of different profiles in different orientations. A traverse cart (100) is devised to transport a specifically designed Fixture Cage (200), along with the components in a quick, stable and efficient manner. Fixture Cage (200) is a metallic or composite fabricated structure which can be positioned in heating zones (furnace (300)) as well as in cooling zones (water quench tank (500), oil quench tank (600) and blowers (700)) to cater to the multiple requirements of the heat treatment cycle with compounded stages of heating & cooling. This Traverse Cart and Fixture Cage (TCFC) together as a single invention is used for the compounded heat treatment cycles resulted in increased productivity and improved quality. This invention is suitable for adapting to many other similar applications.
