The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: A transparent digital package verification system for e-commerce is disclosed. At the packing stage, a camera captures high-resolution images or 3D scans of the product inside the box before sealing. Embedded software processes the images, links them with order ID and timestamp, generates a unique QR code or NFC tag, and stores the record in a secure cloud database. The code is attached to the package. At delivery, the customer scans the code to view images of the actual contents packed, with order details and timestamp, and verifies without opening the box. The system logs confirmation and detects tampering via cryptographic hash. This eliminates open box delivery, reduces fraud and wrong delivery claims, saves logistics time and cost, and builds customer trust. The invention provides digital proof of package contents for dispute resolution and is scalable for MSMEs.
