A method comprises receiving, from a second apparatus, a configuration of a reference signal, wherein the configuration indicates a plurality of different power control parameters to be applied to a plurality of resources for the reference signal, respectively, the plurality of resources comprising at least one of the following: a plurality of time-domain resources of the reference signal, a plurality of frequency-domain resources of the reference signal, or a plurality of spatial-domain resources of the reference signal; and transmitting the reference signal to the second apparatus over the plurality of resources based on the configuration.
