The UE may communicate using a beam associated with the first SSB index until a first time, wherein the first time is related to a random access channel (RACH) procedure triggered by the LTM cell switch command. The UE may communicate using the TCI state associated with the second SSB index starting at a second time, wherein the second time is related to the first time. Numerous other aspects are described.
