Abstract: ABSTRACT TRANSFORMER CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM WITH IOT CONNECTIVITY A transformer condition monitoring system includes a plurality of sensors configured to measure transformer operating parameters, the plurality of sensors including a temperature sensor, a current sensor, a voltage sensor, and an oil level sensor, wherein the oil level sensor includes an ultrasonic sensor configured to perform non-contact measurement of oil level. A microcontroller is communicatively coupled to the plurality of sensors and configured to receive sensor data from the plurality of sensors, compare the sensor data against predefined safety thresholds, and generate an alert signal when the sensor data indicates an abnormal operating condition. A display is communicatively coupled to the microcontroller and configured to provide local status information regarding the transformer operating parameters. An Internet of Things module is communicatively coupled to the microcontroller and configured to transmit the sensor data to a remote server for remote monitoring and data logging.
