Abstract: ABSTRACT TRANSFORMATION-RESILIENT PROVENANCE TRACKING AND DEPLOYMENT GATING SYSTEM FOR AI-ATTRIBUTED SOURCE CODE A provenance tracking system (100) for a CI/CD pipeline server (104) includes a processor (106) and a memory (108). A source code parser module (110) extracts computational segments from first and second source code versions received from a version control repository (102). A normalization module (112) produces normalized forms, a fingerprinter module (114) generates multi-scale structural fingerprints, and an identity assignment module (116) binds computational segment identities independent of file path, line number, identifier names, and commit identifier. An identity transition engine (120) evaluates split relationships by token-set coverage and merge relationships by token-set containment before one-to-one matching, and classifies transitions into eight transition states. A provenance graph (122) stores provenance decay values attenuated by transition-dependent decay coefficients. A gate controller (128) halts compilation and blocks deployment of a software build (132) to a production server (130) when a provenance-weighted risk score exceeds a configurable threshold. (Fig. 1)
