Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented, gamified virtual stock market trading platform designed to enable real-time competitive financial learning through a controlled, risk-free simulation environment. Conventional virtual trading platforms typically operate as single-player, asynchronous systems that evaluate participants using absolute portfolio value, resulting in an unfair basis for comparison where participants allocate differing amounts of virtual capital. The proposed system overcomes these limitations through real-time competitive trading rooms and a normalized, fairness-preserving performance evaluation mechanism. The gamified virtual trading platform incorporates a market data integration module and a virtual trading simulation engine to enable simulated buy and sell operations using assigned virtual capital. A competitive trading room manager allows a host user to create trading rooms using a unique room identifier, enabling participant users to join and compete under identical starting conditions within a predefined session duration. A leaderboard and ranking module computes participant performance using a normalized profit-percentage metric, ensuring fair evaluation irrespective of differing capital allocations. The system further includes a gamification and reward controller that allocates experience points, achievement badges, and level progression indicators based on evaluated trading performance, together with structured financial learning modules and interactive quizzes that enhance user understanding of investment concepts. A visualization and reporting interface displays portfolio performance, leaderboard rankings, and reward achievements, enhancing user engagement and operational transparency. The proposed gamified virtual trading platform enhances learning engagement, ensures fairness in competitive performance evaluation, and supports accessible financial education. By integrating real-time competitive simulation, normalized performance scoring, and gamified connectivity, the invention provides an advanced solution suitable for individual learners, academic institutions, and financial training organizations, contributing to the advancement of accessible financial education technology.
