An apparatus may be configured to receive from a network device, configuration information of a plurality of TRSs for a SCell operating in SSB-less mode, the plurality of TRSs having QCL relation with at least one SSB configured in a reference cell; receive from the network device, a command of activation of the SCell; and determine a TRS from the plurality of TRSs to monitor during the activation of the SCell.
