Abstract: Provided is a novel torque limiter in which an inner member (6a to 6d) does not shake in the axial direction in an inner space (16a to 16d) having a side in the axial direction closed by a shield member (10a to 10d) even if the length of the inner space (16a to 16d) in the axial direction is longer than the length of the inner member (6a to 6d) in the axial direction. The inner member (6a to 6d) or a braking member (8a to 8d) in close contact with the inner member (6a to 6d) is biased in the axial direction against an outer member (4a to 4d) and the shield member (10a to 10d).
