Abstract: The present invention relates to a topical polyherbal pharmaceutical composition formulated as an oil-in-water cream for the management of eczema and related chronic inflammatory dermatoses. The composition comprises Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera) at about 10 percent as an occlusive emollient and antimicrobial agent, a standardized hydroalcoholic extract of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) at about 5 percent as an anti-inflammatory and immunomodulator, and a standardized hydroalcoholic extract of Oat (Avena sativa) at about 5 percent as an anti-pruritic and antioxidant, together with stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, emulsifying wax, liquid paraffin, glycerin, propylene glycol, vitamin E, a paraben preservative system, and purified water. The finished cream exhibits skin-compatible pH of 5.5 to 6.5, satisfactory spreadability and extrudability, and stable shelf life. In preclinical evaluations the composition demonstrated approximately 68 percent reduction in dermatitis severity, 72 percent reduction in scratching, and significant restoration of epidermal barrier, providing a safe corticosteroid-sparing alternative for long-term eczema management
