Abstract: The developed product is a simple and novel arrangement to disinfect the toilet seat surface in a hygienic and safe method manually. This arrangement will help the user of the toilet to clean the possible residues such as the urine droplets, fecal matter, dead skin cells, sweat, bacteria, viruses, fungi that are transferred by the previous users, aerosolized particles that settle on the seat after . flushing and any oth~?r unhygienic items. The design comprises of two disinfectant dispenser cum cleaning brush setup which are fixed over the toilet seat in such a way that it can slide over the curved seat surface. Both of this setup is connected to the toilet seat cover by two small arms which are ball jointed at both the ends. i.e., at the dispenser cum brush setup and the toilet seat cover. The dispenser will be filled with liquid disinfectant which will wet the brush material placed beneath the dispenser. Whenever the next or new user of the toilet open up the seat cover, the two dispenser cum cleaning brush setup will slide over the toilet seat and clean the surface. For better satisfaction, the seat cover may be closed and opened a few more times so that the seat surface will be cleaned repeatedly for better outcome.
