The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: TIMING ADVANCE MEASUREMENT FOR LAYER 1/LAYER 2 TRIGGERED MOBILITY Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to timing advance (TA) measurement for layer 1 (L1)/layer 2 (L2) triggered mobility (LTM). In a method, in accordance with a determination that information about at least one of unsuccessful attempts to transmit a first uplink message on a target cell before the first uplink message is successfully transmitted satisfies a predetermined condition for a successful handover report (SHR), an apparatus determines sub-optimally valid TA occurs. The apparatus transmits, to the network device, information of the sub- optimally valid TA. In this way, the sub-optimally valid TA may be determined in an efficient way.
