The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The Tilt-Activated Gravitational Battery Latch with Passive Orientation-Based Cutoff is a single-axis mechanical power regulator that operates solely through gravitational and inertial dynamics. A weighted conductive plate pivoted within a sealed enclosure aligns with the Earth’s gravitational vector to complete an electrical circuit only when the device is held within a calibrated angular window of ±1°. Integrated viscous damping verifies sustained stability for approximately 1.5 s before activation, while an opposing inertial counter-mass enforces instant cutoff during shock or misalignment. The mechanism requires no electricity, computation, or magnetic influence, functioning as a passive gravitational logic gate for current control. Experimental results confirm response precision under 1°, false activation rate below 0.01%, and endurance exceeding 10,000 cycles. This invention introduces a physically intelligent, fail-safe cutoff suitable for handheld batteries, defense payloads, aerospace units, and moisture-resistant field equipment.
