Abstract: A tile stabilization assistive device comprises of a cylindrical body 101, a handle 102, an imaging unit 103 to processing images, an ultrasonic sensor integrated to determine dimension, a motorized expandable pulley to expand/contract to change dimension of the handle 102 in accordance with dimension of the user’s hand to allow comfortable grip over the handle 102, a motorized linear actuator 105 to extend/retract the plate 106 over the tile to provide thumping movement to the tile for uniform settling and proper adhesion of the tile over the mixture, an acoustic impedance sensor to emit sound waves through the tile to detect presence of air gaps or voids within the mixture, a vibration unit to generate vibrations over the tile surface via the plate 106 to facilitating settling of the mixture and enhancing bonding strength between the tile and the mixture, thereby stabilizing the tile over the surface.
