Provided is a throttle mechanism (15) including a throttle body (20) in which a throttle valve (23) is disposed, the throttle body (20) including: a rotation portion (24) that rotates the throttle valve (23); a cover (50) that covers the rotation 10 portion (24); and an adjustment portion (36) that adjusts a position of the rotation portion (24), wherein a part of the adjustment portion (36) is located outside the throttle body (20), and the cover (50) includes a guard portion (53) that covers a part of the adjustment portion (36).
