MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611074632 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on June 16, 2026, for Three-Winding Coupled Inductor High-Gain Dc-Dc Converter With Enhanced Dynamic Performance.

Inventors include Abhishek Raj Aman; Ankit Kumar Pratihasta; Sudeep Kumar Mohaney; Rajeev Kumar Singh; and Vivek Nandan Lal.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a three-winding coupled inductor high-gain DC-DC converter with enhanced dynamic performance (100) wherein the first switching device (S1) and the second switching device (S2) are configured to be switched simultaneously to energize the first winding (L1) and the second winding (L2) during an ON state, and to transfer stored inductive energy to the output stage during an OFF state, the third winding (L3) is configured to continuously support output current during both the ON state and the OFF state of the first switching device (S1) and the second switching device (S2), the magnetic coupling of the first winding (L1), the second winding (L2), and the third winding (L3) enables high voltage gain at a reduced duty cycle while eliminating phase lag zero frequency, thereby improving dynamic response of the three-winding coupled inductor high-gain DC-DC converter with enhanced dynamic performance (100).
