MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611091369 A) filed by Ankit Chauhan; and Shruti Khokta on July 28, 2026, for Three-Phase To Two-Phase Transformer Apparatus.

Inventor includes Ankit Chauhan.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: A transformer apparatus for converting three-phase electrical power into substantially balanced orthogonal two-phase electrical power is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an integrated primary winding network including interconnected principal, balancing, and quadrature primary winding groups arranged to establish a virtual neutral point and a substantially closed electrical loop for internal circulation of zero-sequence current components. In preferred embodiments, the winding groups are disposed on a common multi-limb magnetic core configured to establish principal, balancing, and quadrature magnetic flux components, while in alternative embodiments the winding groups may be disposed on separate magnetic structures. The first and second secondary windings develop substantially equal output voltages displaced by approximately ninety electrical degrees. The integrated winding configuration inherently suppresses zero-sequence and triplen harmonic components while passively redistributing reflected load currents among the three input phases. The invention provides compact and efficient three-phase to two-phase power conversion together with inherent power-conditioning capability.
