The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: An autonomous robotic system for guiding visually impaired visitors at cultural heritage sites comprises a mobile platform that navigates between points of interest using a combination of timed motion and visual fiduciary marker detection, and a wireless wearable glove that classifies a visitor's hand position and the surface characteristic of a touched artifact to trigger zone-specific audio narration. A visitor signals readiness to proceed to the next point of interest not via a deliberate hand gesture, but by sustaining a lowered hand position continuously for a predetermined dwell duration, providing a reliable, low-complexity, false-positive-resistant interaction method. The system further comprises autonomous obstacle detection with audible warning, and multi-lingual narration switchable without modification to underlying sensing or navigation logic.
