MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621001181 A) filed by Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute Of Technology, Surat on January 06, 2026, for Thiourea Assisted One-Step Spin Deposition Process For Preparing Cspbbr3 Films.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a process of preparation of CsPbBr3 films. Particularly, the present invention relates to thiourea assisted one-step spin deposition process for preparing CsPbBr3 films with improved crystallinity, morphology and photovoltaic performance. The invention further relates to the Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) comprising the thiourea additive CsPbBr3 films prepared by the present process.
