The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The titled invention discloses a thermoelectric energy generation system for industrial and rooftop heat recovery comprising a heat source (1), Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) (2), temperature sensor (3), control unit (4), power output unit (5), alert system (6), voltage sensors (7), and cooling system (8). The system converts available heat from industrial sources such as furnaces, exhausts, steel and aluminium equipment, and metal rooftops into electrical energy using the temperature difference across the TEG (2). The cooling system (8) maintains the cooler side of the TEG (2) at a lower temperature, while the temperature sensor (3) and voltage sensors (7) monitor the operating condition and electrical output. The control unit (4) monitors temperature and power output. The generated electrical energy can be used for powering machines or lights or stored in batteries for later use. The alert system (6) provides an indication when the temperature difference or power output exceeds normal operating limits, providing a low-cost, scalable, and eco-friendly heat recovery solution.
