The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: Abstract The present invention discloses a thernno-responsive diagnostic mouthwash capable of detecting early inflammatory and tissue destructive changes around dental implants. The composition comprises a thermosensitive polymeric base that transitions from liquid at room temperature to a semi-gel state at oral temperature, thereby enhancing localized enzymatic interaction. The formulation incorporates dual colorimetric substrates specific to myeloperoxidase (MPO) and matrix metalloproteinase-8 (MMP-8). Upon exposure to elevated biomarker levels in periimplant crevicular fluid and saliva, the system generates distinct visual color changes corresponding to inflammatory activation and collagen degradation. The invention enables non-invasive, chairside detection of early peri-implant mucositis, active periimplantitis, and preclinical inflammatory risk states.
